HAPPY NEW YEAR

We would like to wish everyone a very happy and prosperous new year . We have been on some journey in 2024 and we hope to create more memories in 2025 . The backing we have had from sponsors and supporter’s alike has been phenomenal and we are deeply grateful for your continued support . The volunteers at the club and hard work they put in is unbelievable where they get the energy from . god only knows and is much appreciated . We kick off the new year with a bang and your backing will give the players the lift they need and appreciate. Finally the coaching staff and players the work that goes on not just on match days or training nights is all to bring a top team to the Albyn Park .

SCOTTISH CUP TICKETS SALES

There will be another opportunity to buy Scottish Cup Tickets on Monday Evening  the 30th December between 6pm and 8pm . Adults £15 Concessions £10 and 15 and under £5 . Get along and buy your tickets . There will also be club merchandise available to purchase also . After the ticket sales the keydraw will be getting drawn  and will be live on our Facebook page .

TRANENT MAN OF THE MATCH

The Man of The Match of the Tranent match was Captain Nicholas Locke who inspired his team to a come back win after being down 1-0 at half time he scored the winner in a fine team second half performance . Nick is sponsored by Tam Rutherford , Andy Dent and Paragon Inks .

SCOTTISH CUP TICKET SALES

Hi with initial rush and 1100 tickets sold for our home clash with Ayr United we will continue to sell tickets and the next opportunity to buy tickets will be on Saturday the 28th between 10am and 12 noon . Unfortunately we will be busy organising for our match thereafter so sales will not be available after 12 noon . There , hopefully , will be an opportunity prior to the new year details will be published on our social media pages once arranged

MOM POSTS CATCH UP

THE ROCKBREAKERS MON OF THE MATCH AWARDS WITH GIANNINO’S SPONSORING THE CHAMPAGNE AWARD  FOR THE PLAYERS  .

Due to technical problems here is a catch up of Man Of The Match awards  the last six weeks or so

The Rockbreakers man of the match was Kyle Bell who received his bottle of Champagne award sponsored by Giannino’s  . Kyle is sponsored by Homecrafts , Graeme Alexander and Duncan Robb

  The Stranraer man of the match was Joe Smith currently on loan from Queens Park The Jeanfield Swifts Man of The match was that man Kyle Bell again who is constant in all his games . The University of Stirling Man Of the match was Greg page  who also turns in top performance’s time and time again .

The East Stirlingshire man of the match was Ruari Ellis currently on loan from Kilmarnock and is sponsored by all three kits by Response Building Maintenance  .  Last week’s man of the match was Robert Watt who under awful conditions had an other shut out  taking everything that was thrown at him including the weather . Roberts three kits are sponsored by Gordon Bow .

 

CHRISTMAS WISHES

Everybody at Broxburn Athletic would like to wish all our supporter’s far and wide  a Merry Christmas  and hope you all have a great time . As the year near’s closing we would hope all our Sponsors big and small have a great festive period and a huge thank you to you all for your support this season . A massive thank you goes to all the volunteer’s who work tirelessly on match day making sure our support have a fantastic experience when they come through the gates at the Albyn Park . We would also wish all our coaches players and their families a merry merry Christmas and they continue to produce the results that keep Broxburn up there and challenging for honours and keeping our increasing following happy  . KEYDRAW RESULT

The Xmas keydraw was won by John O’Donnell who collected £50 as Mr Davidson who helped with the draw failed to pick the correct key to open the jackpot box . Next week’s Jackpot will be £550 with 16 keys left to pick from to open the jackpot box  . Next week’s draw will be live on our Facebook page on Monday the 30th December 2024 at 7pm . BUSC EXTRA TIME PROGGRAMES

EXTRA TIME PROGRAMME A HUGE SUCCESS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

Broxburn United Sports Club Extra Time project is now delivering 24 sessions per week to over 350 participants across our region. The programme involves 14 different partners across a wide range of activities. The programme is supporting children from ages 1 to 17, parents, staff and carers. We are working with 9 different schools and delivering programmes of football, multi-sports, robotics, Lego, parent-toddler programme, community walking, parents/carers drop in, youth clubs etc. The programme is delivered 6 days per week, Our weekly programme of activity can be seen below. This programme and its impact does not happen without the significant work of our staff at BUSC, they have been instrumental in developing, planning and delivering the activities. The programme will run until May 2025.
 
We would also like to thank all our partners, Scottish Football Association and Scottish Government. It would not be possible without their support. 

BOB WATT MOM CALEDONIAN BRAVES

Bob Watt was our man of the match against Caledonian Braves picked by local restaurant owner and sponsor of the club Fabrizio who owns the Italian restaurant Giannino’s . Bob handled everything that was asked of him tonight and capped another shut out this season . Bob’s three kit’s are sponsored by Gordon Bow Plant Hire Ltd  . Bob is seen here accepting his reward from Fabrizio

GREG PAGE IN TEAM OF ROUND

Greg Page has been named in the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup 2nd round team of the round . Well done Greg keep up the good work ,having an excellent season again .
