With a very poor first half derived of chances there were only three talking points .On twenty minutes Martyn Shields shot well over the bar from the right hand side of the box . Locke two minutes later sent a great cross into the box but just as the Broxburn forwards were set to pounce the Linlithgow defence stepped in to clear the danger .
The second half started well for the home side when a good ball across the box was cleared before Anderson could get on the end of it .With 51 minutes on the clock Wallace done well to get down to his bottom right hand to save from Owen Ronald . The same player two minutes later made a great run down the right and cut inside but saw his shot slide past the far left hand post .Darren Downie saw a shot saved on 55 minutes . Just before the hour mark Cameron McClair shot wide left . Six minutes Ronald shot wildly over the bar . Half way through the second half Craig Purves had a shot but fired it straight at the keeper .Just before 70 minutes a good run down the right saw him cross into the box and the ball was headed behind for a corner the corner came in but was headed over by Miller . With 77 minutes gone Kieran Anderson was sent through and was disappointed when Barnard saved his attempt at goal . There were seven minutes left when Michael Linton saw a shot blocked for a corner .Five minutes were remaining when a free kick fell to Ian Gray but he shot wide right .A minute later Jack Beasley could have done better when shooting but was weak in his effort on goal . Broxburn won the points with four minutes left when Nicholas Locke went on a run down the right and crossed into the box where ALEXANDER MILLER was running into and he fired home at the second attempt as the keeper tried in vain to keep it out .Poor first half bit better the second but a deserved three points despite the visitors complaints .
