Broxburn took the game to their hosts from the off and did not let them settle on the heavy pitch . With three minutes gone Craig Scott sent Kieron Anderson down the left before he cut inside and fired a shot wide right .A minute later the visitors were awarded a penalty when a ball into the box for Ross Nimmo was awkwardly dealt with by two Boness defenders ,as the ball broke to the right hand side of the box Alexander Miller gave chase but was brought down before he got to the ball and was awarded a penalty .Kieron Anderson stepped up but saw his penalty saved and as he tried to score from the rebound the ball was blocked clear for a corner . The corner played in to the back post and after a couple of attempts it was GRANT GAVIN who got the final touch to hit the back of the net . Boness went on the attack straight from the restart and after a good move Robert Sloan tried from 25 yards out but Connor Wallace dealt with it comfortably .Eleven minutes gone and Connor Scullion made a tricky run down the left and fired a ball across the six yard box but there were no blue shirts to take advantage of a good ball in . Broxburn’s Nimmo set up Miller but the striker shot weekly past the left hand post .Half way through the half and the visitors were in control and great play by Anderson and Nimmo set up Nicholas Locke who shot disappointingly over .A minute later a long ball out from Wallace in the visitors goal sent Nimmo down the right hand side and he sent an inch perfect pass to his captain Locke who was through one on one with the keeper but his shot went narrowly past the left hand post. The captain had another good opportunity to double his sides lead a couple of minutes later but again shot wide of the target . It was Craig Scott who was next to try his luck but shot over .On 41 minutes Anderson made a great run and his goal bound shot was well saved and turned over the bar by Andrew Murphy .The corner into the box flashed across the six yard box but no one touched it and it went safely behind for a goal kick . The final minute of the half Boness should have got on level terms .A ball into the box was nodded on and Michael Gemmill was in on goals but Connor Wallace saved brilliantly to keep his side in front at the break .
Boness made a double substitution at the break and it was the hosts who created the first chance of the half when Fraser Eddington was sent through on goal but shot past the right hand post from 18 yards past the advancing keeper .On fifty minutes Jack Simpson saw a ball break to him from a corner but the full back had his shot blocked . Nine minutes into the half and a free kick into the box was knocked down to Ruari Maclennan who shot well over . Simpson made a great run into the box on 55 minutes as the hosts started to get back into the game , but saw his shot well saved and cleared by the visitors keeper . On the hour mark a great ball through saw Ross Philp get the best out of Connor Wallace as he saved well . Conor Scullion was next to find Wallace in inspired form to thwart the winger .Colin Strickland found space on 66 minutes on the edge of the box and his delicate chip towards goal came of the bar to the disappointment of the majority in the Newtown Park ground .With half the half gone Boness thought they had got back on level terms but Will Snowdon was adjudged to have been offside at the back post when he put the ball into the net .Broxburn Broke up the park on a counter attack with Nimmo through on the keeper from and anderson pass but Murphy saved bravely at the feet of the little striker .Anderson created a chance a minute later when turning inside from the left hand side and firing home a shot that Murphy parried into the air and Nicholas Locke could not get direction on his header as he saw it sail over the bar with the goal at his mercy . At the other end Eddington saw a shot deflected away from goals for a corner .The corner was played in and went across the six yard box with none of the Boness players in there getting a touch and the ball went harmlessly away for a bye kick . In the last Minute Darren Gribben set up Alexander Miller with a chance but the striker saw his shot saved . A good and deserved three points at a difficult venue was a good day at the office for all concerned a powerful first half and defensively tight the second half when Boness came more into the game produced a deserved victory .

Jeanfield Swifts were up for the game from the start and pressurised the visiting defence in the early exchanges .On 11 minutes Liam Baker was put through on goals but rushed his shot and fired over from 18 yards out . Five minutes later Scott Richards and Ross Nimmo both had a chance to score but between them they forced the ball wide of target .Eighteen minutes on the clock and Baker was proving a handful and was unlucky to see an effort blocked by Paterson and cleared from the danger area .Kieron Anderson forced a save from Mark Mitchell in the hosts goals . Swifts thought they had taken the lead when a free kick into the box from wide right into the box was met by Liam Baker who headed home but his celebrations were cut short as the assistant had his flag up for offside .His disappointment was short lived as Jeanfield took the lead two minutes later a ball fired into the box from the left was cut out by the fully stretched Paterson and LIAM BAKER was first to react to the loose ball and turned and fired home from an angle .Ross Nimmo had a shot saved a minute later but it was Jeanfield who piled on the misery on twenty eight minutes when Craig Scott tried to clear the ball it fell to LIAM BAKER twenty yards out he took a few strides past the last defender before scoring in the bottom right hand corner .It was not looking good for the visitors at this stage . Darren Cole could have done better with a header near the end of the first half from a corner kick .
Jeanfield started the second as they had started the first with all the pressure but to no avail . Broxburn almost got one back when great play from Ross Nimmo saw his attempt turned behind for a corner by the keeper . from the corner Alexander Miller headed just over the bar .Broxburn did get one back two minutes later on the hour mark when a free kick 25 yards out and wide of the eighteen yard box was floated into the box by Kieron Anderson and his perfect ball was met by NICHOLAS LOCKE who sent a glancing header high into the far corner .Broxburn had their tails up now and two minutes later Anderson sent a ball into the box but was just too strong for Miller running in. The game was all square on 70 minutes a ball played into the box was cleared Kieron Anderson stopped the ball going out for a bye kick and turned and crossed into the box for ALEXANDER MILLER to head home from four yards out .Six minutes later Nimmo set up Anderson who saw his effort saved . Jeanfield almost regained the advantage when a slick move saw Keith Dewar shoot just wide of the right hand post .With ten minutes left Darren Gribben sent a free kick just over the bar .Broxburn did take the lead with six minutes left .ALEXANDER MILLER chased a ball to the bye line and cut the ball back across the six yard box and found Kieron Anderson at the back of the box who crossed back across the box and the big striker was on his knees when he headed into the empty net. Jeanfield were not to be denied a share of the points as the game went into injury time a corner played into the box was bundled over the line by KEITH DEWAR . Deep in injury time Scott Mollison made a run down the left into th box and crossed across the goals with the ball coming of the cross bar. Darren Gribben had one last chance to take all three points but shot just wide of the target .A share of the points about right but need to improve next week performance wise if we are to continue in the Conservatory Convertors Fife and Lothian’s cup when we play Newtongrange Star at home with a 2-30pm kick off .

Broxburn started well at Carmuirs Park today and were denied an opener by the match officials when Alexander Miller beat David Kane in the home goals in a challenge for the ball on the edge of the box and slotted home only for the foul to be given for the challenge as they thought the keeper had the loose ball in his hands and under control . On five minutes the hosts had thought they had scored when Jason deans saw his shot saved and the ball broke to David O’Brien who fired home but was adjudged to have been offside when the ball was played through . The opener came after fourteen minutes when a free kick awarded ten yards inside the visitors half out on the right was floated into the back of the box where STUART BELL out jumped Frazer Paterson to head home .On twenty minutes a great ball from Craig Scott to Ross Nimmo wide right saw the winger cut the ball back to Michael Linton who’s shot was turned round the post for a corner .From the corner Alexander Miller headed wide left . Half way through the half and Nimmo and Linton set up a chance for Nicholas Locke but the captains shot went over the bar . On 34 minutes Nimmo put a great ball into the box from the bye line but David Kane smothered the ball and the danger was averted .
Broxburn started the second half well and in the first minute Miller saw his header from an Anderson corner saved .Two minutes later Anderson put a ball into the box from the left and it broke back out to him and he curled a shot just over the bar with the keeper beaten .The visitors continued to put pressure on the home defence and Kieron Anderson was sent through on goal but good defending saw him robbed of his chance for a corner . Half way through the second half and Camelon should have doubled their lead on three occasions as the ball was put back and forward across the Burn’s goal mouth with no takers for the host’s . Craig Donaldson could have gave his side a cushion when sent free on a counter attack but rushed his shot 30 yards out and it sailed over the bar .The equaliser came with six minutes remaining when Anderson played a ball into the edge of the box and was met by the head of Miller who headed it into the path of ROSS NIMMO who should great composure to hold of the challenge of the big defender before slotting home under the keeper .In injury time Alan Sneddon ran through on a long ball but saw his shot well saved by Connor Wallace and the ball broke up the park through Miller who got to the bye line wide on the right before crossing to the back post where he found Darren Gribben who mishit his shot into the side net when all were waiting for the net to bulge . A draw was the least we deserved today and we go into next week’s game away to Broughty with confidence of keeping the unbeaten run going .

On the half hour mark NEWTONGRANGE should have taken the lead when a ball played through and the Broxburn defence playing a high line Jordan Cropley bore down on goals but the advancing Connor Wallace done enough to cut the angle and the chance went agonisingly ,for the home side , wide of the right hand post .The opener did come two minutes later when Cropley turned Frazer Paterson out wide on the right and played a ball into the centre of the box and found KYLE LANDER standing on his own and he picked his spot from 12 yards out to give the hosts the lead .At the other end a minute later Linton saw his header saved on to the post and cleared from danger .The game was end to end and at the other end Jack Wilson put a ball goal ward and when Wallace spilt the ball Marcus Millar was on hand to blast the ball clear .With four first half minutes left a great one two on the edge of the box saw LEE CURRIE fire home across the goals into the bottom right hand corner to give his side a 2-0 half time lead .

What a match this was with ourselves coming out on top of a eleven goal thriller . It didn’t start well for us as a long ball caught us out at the back in the first minute and Ben Anthony ran down the left hand side and when reaching the bye line cut it back across the goals for the on running LEWIS McKENZIE TO turn the ball home . two minutes later Alexander Miller crossed for Ross Nimmo who shot well over the bar snatching at his shot . Paul Quinn almost made it 2-0 after nine minutes when he was set up by Anthony but the striker put his shot wide of the goals . Broxburn made them pay a minute later when Moosa Mampuya made a great forward run well into the opponents half and he laid the ball to the feet of SCOTT RICHARDS who fired home giving Lennox no chance . Nicholas Locke saw an attempt go wide after good build up play by the visitors .Two minutes later the hosts took the lead when MCkenzie was sent through on goal on the right hand side of the box and Connor Wallace was adjudged to have brought him down inside the box with PAUL QUINN scoring from the resultant penalty kick . Broxburn equalised on twenty minutes when Richards laid the ball off to NICHOLAS LOCKE who fired home from twenty yards . Just before the half hour great one two between Richards and Moosa saw the later shot saved by Lennox’s outstretched leg .A minute later we had a scare when the ball was cleared from the back post from a Bluebell corner .Nicholas Locke was presented with a penalty kick after Calum rarity pushed Richards as he went for the ball but Lennox made a great save from the captain . Substitute CRAIG SCOTT was played in by Linton and from thirty five yards out he fired a rocket into the top corner to the delight of his team mates . With the time running out on the first half a ball played into the box was handled by the defender and this time ALEXANDER MILLER stepped up and made no mistake from the awarded penalty spot . That was the last action of the half .
The second half started as the first half did .LEWIS McKENZIE went on a run across the park from left to right and fired a shot home from 12 yards . Scott McNaughton forced a save from Lennox after 50 minutes . Broxburn regained their two goal cushion on 55 minutes when Moosa was badly tackled and required treatment .From the free kick Scott Richards floated a ball to the edge of the box and was met by ALEXANDER MILLER who with his back to goal just inside the box he looped a backward header up and over the Diminutive Lennox in the hosts goal .Just before the hour former Broxburn centre half Calum Rarity saw his shot saved by Wallace .ALEXANDER MILLER completed his hat trick in style when running through on goal wide left and from just inside the box he curled a shot into far right top corner giving the keeper no chance .Dundonald were not finished and on 70 minutes a corner into the box was fired goal ward twice and cleared before it broke to PAUL QUINN who prodded the ball home to give his side a lift . They were now pressing hard for more goals to get back in the match and the Broxburn defence defended stoutly . Eighty five minutes on the clock and Scott Richards fired a shot of the post and it broke to Alexander Miller but the striker shot over the bar from an offside position . BRODIE GRAY made it a nervy last couple of minutes for “THE BURN ” when scoring from 22 yards out with two regular minutes left . At the other end Lynass was through on goal but saw his shot saved . Half an hour gone and Scott McNaughton saw a half chance go just wide of the left hand post .Christopher Dallas should have done better when through on goals twice in the the last ten minutes of the half he poorly blasted wildly over the bar .

Bonnyrigg took the lead in two minutes when a long bouncing ball was contested for by Darren Cole and WAYNE McINTOSH the Rose player getting the better of the defender and was in on goal and made no mistake from 14 yards out .A minute later broxburn should have been level when Nicholas Locke disposed the defender of the ball 30 yards out and was through one on one with the keeper who pulled of a great save to deny the captain .On 12 minutes Sean Jamieson got his toe to the ball and knock it past the keeper but Craig Purves got back and cleared the ball up the park and away from danger . Zander Miller put a great ball across the hosts box but unfortunately it was just beyond the attacking Nimmo at the back post .Alexander Miller had a double chance thwarted by the keeper on 20 minutes .half way through the half a free kick into the visitors box saw Ruaridah Donaldson with a free header but he headed well over the bar .McIntosh had a couple of opportunities round the half hour mark .Broxburn immediately punished these misses when Alexander Miller was through on goal inside the box when Michael Andrews in the hosts goals came out and brought him down .What happened next baffled most in the crowd as the referee showed a straight red card to the keeper but admitted due to the new rule that if a genuine attempt is made to win the ball it is still a penalty but the offender is shown a yellow not a red .Once all the confusion had settled down CRAIG PURVES kept his cool to score from the spot kick .
Bonnyrigg took the lead on the hour mark when a ball into the middle of the visitors defence broke out right to WAYNE McINTOSH who gave Wallace no chance .A minute later Andrew Kidd saw a free kick go just wide from 30 yards .Nicholas Locke created a chance on his own when getting the ball on the right cutting inside and he saw his shot well saved . Chances went a begging for both sides and Darren Cole made a fantastic last gasp tackle when McIntosh looked certain to get his hat trick .Wallace had a great save from McGachie .Kidd put a great ball into the back post for McGachie but the striker shot over . Bonnyrigg got a third as the visitors got a corner in the last minute and sent everybody into the box including the keeper when the corner broke down the ball was put out to LEWIS TURNER on the half way line and he only had to hit the target of the unguarded goal to seal victory with the last kick of the ball .
