On a dry autumnal afternoon at the Albyn, Broxburn kept an unchanged starting line up for the visit of Newtongrange Star.

The visitors continued their good start to the second half but having made good progress down the right a very poor final ball is played which Wallace collected easily.

This stung the home side into action with a Greenhill pass sending Kelly down the left wing he cut inside his man but his shot was blocked by the Newtongrange defence.

Broxburn were dangerous on the break which Ross demonstrated in 54 minutes his lob being well saved by the onrushing Shaw at the edge of his box. The ball broke to Gillan who elected to pass instead of taking on a shot with only a Camelon defender on the goal line.
